About Me
I spent my most formative years in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Finding the community that younger me needed through Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's Academy and high school at Harding Fine Arts Academy. I began children's theatre with Lyric at the age of 11 and knew by 13 I was hooked for life. With the help of my family and community I was on the path for performance at a very young age. HFAA is one of the most diverse high schools in Oklahoma specializing in arts focused education, leadership and diversity. There I learned to be a leader amongst my peers and met my high school sweetheart.
After high school I relocated to Lincoln Nebraska for Nebraska Wesleyan University's BFA Musical Theatre program and liberal arts education. Through my time there I have been able to explore my identity and the paths to take after higher education. I have always been passionate about community, collaboration and the power of theatre. Some actors are competitors, I am a collaborator. I believe that theatre is for everyone and it is our job as the next generation of performers and creators to make it so.
What comes next? Though the future is always uncertain I am ready to take that leap after graduation. I am interested in Theatre for Young Audiences and theatre companies that are making bold leaps when it comes to inclusivity, collaboration and fun.
